Found it very easy to make friends. I did get a bit confused as there seemed to be a lot of staff who swapped jobs. They all had hats and beards so I kept getting their names wrong. One huge plus is the price. Considerably cheaper than others. And the other thing that surprised me is it is actually only a 7 minute walk to the Yumbo.
Local shops are also just 2 minutes away. Will definitely stay here again and visit as a day guest when I am back in 2 weeks time. See you soon. Neil XXXX. Just got back from our winter break to Gran Canaria, Maspalomas. Our stay at Tropical La Zona was disappointing to say the least. The welcome was not particularly friendly and when we asked to move bungalow because of the noise waking us very early for the first three days, we were made to feel like we were being a nuisance and that nobody had ever complained about this before.

We were given another bungalow and told we must be ready to swap by 2. So credit to them for allowing us to move. However, the complex now looks very dated and tired. Bungalow accommodation is exceptionally basic and could now do with a complete refurbishment. The bathroom is particularly shabby. So if you do want a bit of luxury this is not the place to stay. As La Zona allows guests to bring friends into the complex on several occasions there were no sun beds for those of us paying a considerable amount to stay there.

Lamentamos que esta no haya sido de su agrado. Estamos en una zona tranquila de Playa del Ingles, pero cada uno tiene un nivel de sueño distinto. Le informo que no tenemos solicitudes de cambio de bungalow por el ruido, de hecho sino habria mas criticas como esta en Tripadvisor; y como solemos estar completos el cambio de bungalow no es facil.
Respecto a su valoracion de los bungalows, esto es algo muy subjetivo, aunque usted da una pista al mencionar en su texto la palabra "lujo", no somos un alojamiento de "lujo" y en ningun lugar de nuestra web utilizamos esa palabra. No obstante tampoco tenemos el precio de alojamiento de lujo Un saludo.

Tropical La Zona. The garden is very well maintained, with fantastic tropical cactaceas; pool is clean and beautiful, gym area need a renovation. The cruising area is basic but well kept, Bungalows are cleaned every 3 days, but everything you need is provided. Wifi slow but working. Enjoying very nice 8 days, 8 fantastic days spent around the clean pool and clean Jacuzzi, without clothing. Really uncomfortable sigh but clean sunbeds. Daytime there is a very cute bar with fantastic guys, and service is every time top!
If you are looking for a secure wellkept place with great service, you really should try! Goodbye in a very short I'm counting the days.
The staff are incredibly friendy and welcoming and the place is spotless. As a men-only nudist resort it was a little bit weird wandering around with my bits out on display but I settled into it very quickly! The team spoke great English which was a relief lazy of me I know and were always available to answer any questions. I was very ill towards the end of the holiday and they were very helpful and understanding.
The only tiny downside is the lack of air con in the bungalows; however you're in the nuddy for most of the day so you body adapts to the heat quickly. There are ceiling fans in the bedroom which help. I cannot fault Tropical La Zona and thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, and hope to return next year if not sooner. A short walk from the Yumbo centre, these bungalows are well maintained and very clean and comfy. Although they are a little basic this should not put anyone off, after all with weather this good how much time do you really spend indoors.
The grounds are safe, secure and very well kept that they are a delight to walk around. The pool area is clean, tidy, quiet and peaceful making it a superb area to relax in and to enjoy the sunshine with a few drinks etc. Onto-which the pool bar was very reasonably priced and well stocked. But what made this place a superb destination to stay was the the staff who were friendly, polite and hard working ensuring you had a fantastic stay.
